  • Children pile out of a school bus to come home to the Town and Country Motel along US 40 west of Greenfield Ind. The old motel has over a dozen kids living there. The motel owner had the sign torn down shortly after this photo was taken earlier this summer. He also installed new air conditioners in all the units after reporting on the story began.   • One of the cramped rooms at the Town and Country Motel is the combined dining room, play room and bedroom for the six kids of Cora McNeil and Mike Jackson. At least four of kids sleep together on the mattress on the floor each night. Josh Brenton, 16, at left, hold Christian, 1, while Morgan, on chair, Shannon, Ryan, Jordan, and Dylan play in the room before going to bed.
